Tall, narrow, minimalist cabins in bare wood elevate guests above the treetops of a protected site, for far-ranging views of the countryside; inside is Nordic modernism at its warmest and most organic.
Tucked away
A place apart: the property is the destination.
Footpaths climb directly into the Vosges hills, and the nearby village of Breitenbach has its own organic brewery.

Bistronomic tasting menus draw from the on-site organic vegetable garden. Below, a stone cellar holds 400 regional natural wines.
How it began

Founder Emil Leroy-Jönsson conceived the hotel after visiting Lapland, partnering with Norwegian architect Reiulf Ramstad to shape the timber cabins.
