Anandes Hotel Mykonos
Sculpted Cycladic hotel
Sculpted Cycladic hotel
The hotel revives vintage Mykonian glamour with sculpted Cycladic lines, keeping things unhurried until the island's late-night energy takes over.
“The designers worked hard to elevate the ceilings, something rarely seen in buildings around the island but which adds a breezy and airy feel to the rooms.”
What it’s good at
Remarkable
Studio Bonarchi softens stark Cycladic curves with dark timber and textured stone.

Minimalist rooms blend together soothing shades of greige with clean lines and tactile materials, think travertine stone, embossed pine wood, linen, and bronze highlights.
Right in the middle
Well-located: walkable to some things, a short ride to more.
The cobbled lanes of Chora sit a short walk down the hill, leading straight to Little Venice and the historic windmills.

The rooms
Rooms look straight out to sea beneath unusually high ceilings, and more than half have private plunge pools or hot tubs.
The pool
Bring a swimsuit.
Submerged sun-shelf loungers sit directly in the swimming pool, looking out over the whitewashed rooftops of Mykonos Town.
The spa
The spa houses a hammam and a dry sauna sized for pairs, with treatments using Ariadne Athens botanicals.
At the table
LPM Restaurant serves Mediterranean plates beneath a dark timber pergola. Whitewashed terrace walls display mythological murals inspired by Jean Cocteau.
You’ll find the traditional Cycladic white and blue tones dotted around Anandes… but they’re blended with a muted, earthy color palette alongside contemporary paintings and sculptures to create something altogether more distinct.
How it began

Owner Karim El Chiaty spent childhood summers on Mykonos, eventually buying the site and excavating down to bedrock to rebuild it.
