The rooms
Select suites open straight into shared swim-up pools, while the top suite has a rooftop plunge pool facing the sea.
The pool
Bring a swimsuit.
The central swimming pool looks out past palms toward the pebble beach, lined with sunbeds and fringed parasols.
The gym and yoga
Timber beams and exposed stone line the indoor gym, and an outdoor space hosts morning yoga sessions.
Naked Star Pool Bar
The open-sided pavilion sits right beside the pool, serving fresh juices, coffee, and cocktails along the deck.
At the table
Matter serves Cretan farm-to-table dishes on a shaded sea-view terrace, and 35° prepares regional dinners each evening.
How it began

The hotel takes its name from Asterion, a mythological king of Crete, and reopened in 2021 following a complete redesign.
