What they say
Michelin Selected
Michelin
The spaces are generous, each unit is unique, and the hotel’s food and beverage offerings are beyond reproach, from the afternoon tea service to the restaurant, serving modern British fare
Somewhere quiet
Away from the crowds. Getting around takes intention.
Buckland is a quiet village beside medieval St Michael Church, with Broadway's stone high street two miles to the north.
The rooms
Each of the fifteen bedrooms is individually decorated, and superior rooms center on four-poster beds looking out across the gardens.
The Restaurant
Tables laid with white linen look through leaded mullioned windows onto the gardens, beside painted panelling and a Jacobethan fireplace.
At the table
Afternoon tea arrives on tiered stands in the beamed parlors, or outside on the garden terrace in fine weather.
How it began

The Abbey of Gloucester owned the manor until 1536, before architect A.N. Prentice expanded the honey-stone house in 1910.
