What they say
Michelin Selected
Michelin
Standing guard over the terraced vineyards between Sondrio and the medieval Castel Grumello is Cà Rossa, a two-suite escape that’s as visually striking as its picturesque surroundings.
Tucked away
A place apart: the property is the destination.
Castel Grumello sits just uphill, and terraced vineyards slope all the way down to Sondrio on the valley floor.
The rooms
Glass panels inside each suite reveal the raw bedrock, and private terraces look straight across the valley.
The hot tub
The wood-fired Finnish tub sits among the vines, heated for evening soaks with glasses of local wine.
At the table
The historic stone cellar hosts private tastings of the estate's Miracolo wine and local Valtellina cheeses.
How it began

The Castellani family established the agriturismo in 2019, naming it after the surrounding hamlet and bottling their own wine on site.
