What they say
Michelin Selected
Michelin
Côte Ouest Thalasso doesn’t just look across the Atlantic Ocean, it feels like you might be sailing across it with its 1930s ocean liner-inspired design.
Somewhere quiet
Away from the crowds. Getting around takes intention.
Lac de Tanchet and the Atlantic bay sit right outside, edged by twenty-five hectares of coastal pine forest.
The rooms
Rooms resemble vintage ship cabins, with bay windows or balconies looking toward the Atlantic or the pine forest.
The pools
Bring a swimsuit.
The indoor seawater pool is heated to 31°C with massage jets. Outside, retro bathing huts surround a sand-bottom basin.
The spa and gym
Technogym cardio machines look out to sea, and treatment rooms host Phytomer facials and seaweed wraps beside a sunlit whirlpool.
Restaurant
Le Normandie
Curved booths and maritime flags recall an ocean liner salon. The kitchen serves daily catches from the local fish auction.
At the table
Outdoor tables look out over the bay, where the rooftop Sun Deck serves cocktails and ember-grilled dishes at sunset.
How it began

Opened in 1989 under Accor, the complex was acquired in 2012 by the local Dubreuil family for a major reinvention.
