They’ve of course perfected the ski-in, ski-out idiom (including their own ski depot, replete with the latest and greatest), and the après scene is arguably just as opulent.
Somewhere quiet
Away from the crowds. Getting around takes intention.
Set in the Grossarl Valley directly beside the gondola station, slopes connect smoothly to hundreds of miles of Ski Amadé terrain.
The rooms
Herringbone oak floors and floor-to-ceiling glass frame mountain vistas, while select top suites feature open fireplaces and private terrace hot tubs.
The pools
Bring a swimsuit.
A rooftop infinity pool looks over the valley, joined by an outdoor saltwater basin and glass-walled indoor pools.
The spa
Curved loungers and hanging daybeds furnish quiet relaxation lounges, and treatment rooms use house-blended alpine cosmetics.
Gym and pilates studio
The fitness room holds TechnoGym equipment, and a separate studio is fitted with Pilates reformers.
Dogs stay too.
At the table
Wood-paneled Stuben and contemporary dining rooms serve regional mountain dishes, including meats from the hotel's own butcher shop.
How it began

Founded in 1979 as a modest fourteen-room guesthouse, the resort has expanded across three generations under the continuous care of the Hettegger family.
