What they say
Michelin Selected
Michelin
It’s hard to beat the location of Epona, which sits surrounded by many of the sights that make Sens worth a stop along the Burgundy wine route.
Right in the middle
Well-located: walkable to some things, a short ride to more.
The neo-Renaissance town hall sits directly opposite, and Sens Cathedral is a two-minute walk away.
The rooms
Bedrooms are finished in warm wood paneling and sandstone tile. Suites look directly across to Sens Cathedral.
At the table
Dinner at La Table d'Epona spills onto the courtyard patio, and Le Dionisens pours drinks at a slatted wood bar.
How it began

The hotel replaces a historic post house, rebuilt from scratch to recreate the original archway, blue shutters, and iron balconies.
