Our shorthand ↗
Estancia Cristina, vibe
“Estancia Cristina is not without its architectural charms, but it’s restrained, almost utilitarian, its pleasures more a matter of warm, rich textures…”
— Michelin

Rooms

En-suite rooms are grouped in five standalone cabins, each set around a shared living area with picture windows framing mountain peaks.

“If you’d rather stay in the park, opt for the historic Estancia Cristina, where you can witness Argentina’s gaucho culture.”
— Condé Nast Traveler

Backstory

English pioneers Joseph and Jessie Masters established this sheep ranch in 1914, naming the remote homestead after their daughter Cristina.

Eat & drink

El Quincho serves regional staples like spiced rolled lamb alongside Argentine wines, while the main lodge bar offers panoramic valley views.

The neighborhood

Hidden along the Cristina Channel inside Los Glaciares National Park, the estate looks out toward the massive Upsala Glacier and surrounding ice fields.
