The house
First CabinFirst-class airline capsule hotel
The concept bridges capsule lodging and business hotels, styling compact private berths after long-haul airplane cabins.
What it’s good at
Listed
Airplane-inspired sleeping cabins include roll-down privacy screens and individual flat-screen televisions.
In a lively part of town
Where things happen: restaurants, shops, people.
Namba station connects directly to the building through Exit 13, and Dotonbori is five minutes away on foot.
The rooms
Sleeping berths are arranged across sex-segregated floors, where simple curtain partitions replace solid doors and washrooms are communal.
The communal baths
Tiled soaking tubs sit beside frosted glass block walls, alongside dry saunas and cold immersion plunge pools.
The gym
Weight machines and rowing equipment line floor-to-ceiling windows that look straight down onto Midosuji avenue.
At the table
Dining tables fill the third-floor lounge, where vending machines and self-service counters supply coffee and instant ramen.
How it began

This location served as the 2009 prototype for the First Cabin brand, launching its flight-themed micro-stay concept across Japan.
