GalileOasis — rooms

Rooms

Sunlight streams through large windows onto minimalist concrete walls, with bed frames and bathroom counters crafted from the site's salvaged demolition timber.

GalileOasis — backstory

Backstory

Proteges of playwright Rassami Paoluengtong converted her family's former auto-repair garages and snooker halls into this cultural compound, named after Bertolt Brecht’s play.

GalileOasis — eat & drink

Eat & drink

Piccolo Vicolo pulls espresso over fresh coconut water, while neighboring vendors serve Koh Lanta fish and chips, home-style Thai cooking, and shaved ice.

The neighborhood

Hidden down a narrow pedestrian alley in Baan Krua, the compound sits steps from the Saen Saep canal and Ratchathewi’s transit connections.
