What they say
Michelin Selected
Michelin
The original walls still stand, now wrapped around 55 one-of-a-kind rooms, each with handpicked furniture, vintage details, and the occasional line of poetry on the wall.
Right in the middle
Well-located: walkable to some things, a short ride to more.
Pedestrian Langgata runs right outside the doors, and the Sandnes train station is a minute away on foot.
The rooms
Historic wing rooms face Langgata with timber floors and vintage furniture, alongside concrete-walled quarters in the former slaughterhouse.
At the table
Seasonal Norwegian dishes are served against original brick masonry, and tables extend into the light-filled glass conservatory.
How it began

Founder Lauritz Smith Pedersen secured royal permission in 1782, opening the brickworks that sparked the pottery industry in Sandnes.
