What they say
Michelin Selected
Michelin
turning a handful of vacant (and separate) shopfronts in Vienna’s fourth district into a sort of distributed hotel, which goes by the name of Graetzlhotel Belvedere.
Right in the middle
Well-located: walkable to some things, a short ride to more.
Schloss Belvedere is a short walk east. Around the corner, 1910 Art Nouveau landmark Café Goldegg serves breakfast and coffee.
The rooms
Suites look out onto the pavement through former shop windows, finished with minimal white walls and 1950s bathroom tiling.
At the table
Partner venues across the quarter act as dining rooms, from traditional coffeehouse booths to local wine bars.
How it began
The project began in 2012 inside an empty ball-gown atelier, converted by architecture studio Kohlmayr Lutter Knapp to revive vacant storefronts.
