Athens-based architectural studio, Block722, opted not for the classic white Cycladic style but for brown, local limestone that blends into the natural surroundings.
How it began

Founder Ricardo Larriera worked with Athens studio Block722 to shape low-slung structures using stone excavated directly from the site.
“Inside, the aesthetic centres around calming neutral hues and natural materials: marble floors, custom-made wooden furniture, linens and paper lampshades.”
