Hôtel Amour — rooms

Rooms

Mid-century flea market finds furnish each idiosyncratic bedroom, designed intentionally without televisions or phones to keep the atmosphere analog.

Backstory

Artist André Saraiva and hotelier Thierry Costes teamed up in 2006 to convert a former Pigalle maison close into a bohemian retreat.

Hôtel Amour — eat & drink

Eat & drink

The all-day bistro pours natural wines along red leather banquettes, spilling out into an overgrown glass-roofed courtyard garden.

The neighborhood

Tucked along Rue de Navarin in South Pigalle, artisan bakeries on Rue des Martyrs sit just around the corner from late-night bars.
