Alpine lakeside manor
The hotel began as a nineteenth-century family residence and still runs like one, with shaded lawns sloping down to the water.
What it’s good at
What they say
Michelin Selected
Michelin
Its 32 rooms and suites, divided between the original building and an addition, are a mix of Alpine-rustic, seaside casual, and contemporary boutique chic; they’re also thoroughly luxurious.
Somewhere quiet
Away from the crowds. Getting around takes intention.
Quiet lanes wind through Talloires village, and the lakefront path looks straight across to the medieval Château de Duingt.
The rooms
Main-house rooms open onto balconies looking across Lake Annecy. Several on the ground floor step directly into private gardens.
The indoor pool
Bring a swimsuit.
The heated pool has balneotherapy jets, and hanging wicker chairs face floor-to-ceiling windows over the water.
The spa
Two treatment rooms use organic Estime & Sens and SNÖ Éternelle skincare. A traditional hammam sits just down the hall.
The barrel sauna
The wooden barrel sauna sits on the lake shoreline, with a round panoramic window looking straight across the water.
Restaurant
La Table du B.
Chef Daniel Leyendecker cooks regional Haute-Savoie produce, served in an Art Deco dining room and on the lakefront terrace.
At the table
The lakeside beach bar pours spritzes and serves light salads under a shaded canopy right by the pontoon.
How it began

Longtime guests Corinne and François Debuquoy bought the hotel in 2015, continuing a guesthouse tradition that began on the estate in 1900.
