All of the suites are different in both design and size. The Chapter 2 "NYC Flat" is 310 square feet, and it goes up to Chapter 4 "Supreme," with two full-sized bedrooms.
Right in the middle

Set along Hollywood Boulevard in Los Feliz, indie cafes and diners are right outside, with Griffith Observatory just ten minutes away.
The rooms
The apartment suites layer French modernist fixtures, vintage furnishings, and turntables, with clawfoot tubs and kitchenettes tailored to each imagined era.
Dogs stay too.
At the table
Bar Covell serves artisan cheeses and warm croque monsieurs downstairs, with breakfast tacos delivered from neighborhood staple HomeState.
Each distinctively (and painstakingly) decorated suite is based on a place George or Isabel lived, from a rustic-chic Oklahoma house to a 1970s Parisian apartment.
How it began
Hotelier Dustin Lancaster and designer Sally Breer launched the retreat above Bar Covell in 2015, later expanding across the 1930s building.
