What they say
One Michelin Key
Michelin
Hotel Goodwin may take its inspiration — and its name — from a 19th-century Beloit landmark, but in its current incarnation it’s every bit a 21st-century boutique hotel.
Right in the middle
Well-located: walkable to some things, a short ride to more.
Set along Public Avenue in downtown Beloit, the brick facade sits a short stroll from the Rock River and riverside parks.
The rooms
In-room turntables and vinyl collections anchor each space, while select bathrooms feature three-sided glass showers extending into the bedroom.
Dogs stay too.
Restaurant
Velvet Buffalo Modern Italian
The curved dark wood bar pours artisan wines alongside a dinner menu of scratch pasta and stone-fired pizza.
Bar
The Rooftop at Hotel Goodwin
The fourth-floor terrace serves craft cocktails around glowing fire tables with open-air views across downtown.
At the table
Indoor rooftop dining tables sit under exposed timber ceilings, with floor-to-ceiling windows looking out toward city lights.
How it began

The hotel takes its name from Beloit's nineteenth-century Goodwin House, reimagined in 2018 as a boutique stay by Geronimo Hospitality Group.
