What it’s good at
What they say
Michelin Selected
Michelin
The Hotel Indigo here takes the local "Legend of the Eagle" as its design thread: a large feathered wing installation features prominently in the public spaces.
Tucked away
A place apart: the property is the destination.
The snow mountains of Zhongcha Valley rise directly behind the hotel, and the Jiuzhaigou scenic entrance is ten kilometres away.
The rooms
Asymmetrical headboards are patterned with Qiang embroidery, and four sliding panels partition the bedroom from the bath.
The gym
Cardio machines and weight benches line the fitness room, set before a colorful abstract mural.
Restaurant
Travel & Seek
Buffet counters sit beneath timber trellises, serving Tibetan dishes and stone pot chicken cooked with wild mushrooms.
How it began

Design firm CCD built the 2021 property around the local Legend of the Eagle, referencing Thangka artwork and Tibetan woodblock prints.
