What they say
Michelin Selected
Michelin
It’s more like what we’ve come to expect from the villa resorts of the Far East than the Canary Islands.
Tucked away
A place apart: the property is the destination.
On a hillside above Golf Costa Adeje, overlooking the fairways and the Atlantic Ocean towards La Gomera.
The rooms
Villas are individually styled with ornate Asian woodwork, and each opens onto a private terrace with a heated pool.
The pool
Bring a swimsuit.
The communal pool sits on a timber deck shaded by Balinese umbrellas, looking toward the mountains.
The spa
Private suites at Golden Pond Spa have sunken baths, and treatments draw on Natura Bissé and Alqvimia.
Thermal pool and gym
The indoor thermal pool sits beneath carved stone reliefs. The fitness room includes an on-site squash court.
At the table
Restaurante Jardín serves creative Canarian dishes under woven amphora lamps. A thatched counter pours cocktails beside the pool.
How it began
Architect María Lozada designed the property in 2006, personally sourcing hand-carved temple doors and antiques across Asia.
