Intricate wood carvings line the Arvenholz pine parlour, and formal dinner tables continue into an attached winter garden.
At the table
Black leather armchairs furnish the wood-paneled smokers' lounge. In fair weather, drinks and coffee move out to the garden terrace.
How it began

The original grand hotel launched Klosters' first winter sports season in 1904, nearly a century before its rebuild.
