Converted village church
The parish church functions as an intimate inn, with drinks poured at the altar beneath the soaring vaulted nave.

Michelin Selected
Michelin
What opened in 2019 was sixteen rooms, a bar built into the altar, and a hotel that has kept the original vaulted ceilings, nave, and stained glass largely as found.
Somewhere quiet
Away from the crowds. Getting around takes intention.
The old parish cemetery wraps around the church, giving way to the working farmland and flat polders of Zeeuws-Vlaanderen.
The rooms
Bedrooms are built into the former side aisles. Upper-floor quarters sit beneath vaulted ceilings alongside original stained-glass windows.
At the table
Breakfast brings regional Zeeuws produce beneath the vaulted arches, and the nave serves homemade cakes and drinks.
How it began
Three friends acquired the decommissioned village church, originally planning nothing more ambitious than a modest bed and breakfast.
