What they say
Michelin Selected
Michelin
The look is simple and refined, typical of any upper-class country house in provincial Argentina — think rich leather armchairs, exposed brick, classic dark wood, gilded antique mirrors — but there’s a sense of playfulness, too.
Right in the middle
Well-located: walkable to some things, a short ride to more.
The Paraná riverfront and the historic city center are both an easy walk from the front door.
The rooms
Bedrooms across the two wings have exposed brick and dark timber floors, and several look directly onto the courtyard pool.
The pool
Bring a swimsuit.
The narrow outdoor pool runs through a gravel courtyard, shaded by native mango trees and flanked by iron chairs.
The gym
The El Salvador wing holds a compact fitness room with dark hardwood floors, sage paneling, and cardio equipment.
Restaurant
El Bistró
Tables sit beneath crystal chandeliers and salvaged railway columns, with a kitchen preparing handmade pastas and regional Correntino fare.
At the table
El Galpón is a guest-only retreat in the converted warehouse, with melted taper candles and a dark timber bar.
How it began

Valeria Rolón and Porfirio Aquino restored a derelict neocolonial house in 2008, later expanding into an adjacent butcher shop warehouse.
