Somewhere quiet
Away from the crowds. Getting around takes intention.
Bad Kissingen's historic spa gardens are a short walk down Kurhausstrasse. The surrounding neighborhood of Reiterswiesen stays quiet day and night.
The rooms
Rooms have a warm country-house style with Mediterranean accents, looking out over the surrounding park and water lily pond.
The spa
Treatments draw on Thalgo marine algae skincare. Guests unwind afterwards on loungers in a bright relaxation room.
The sauna
Multi-tier wooden benches line the Finnish sauna, and an indoor whirlpool tub sits just outside.
At the table
Chef Frederik Desch cooks with local venison and Rhön trout. In summer, dinner moves out to the park terrace.
How it began

Hermann Laudensack founded the hotel in 1987, and local builder Anton Schick oversaw an extensive renovation after taking over in 2020.
