The 143 rooms and suites at Le Méridien are minimalist but warm, with accents in pleasant seaside colors and plenty of space to spread out.
Somewhere quiet
Away from the crowds. Getting around takes intention.
The Sant Salvador promenade runs right along the sand, and the cava vineyards of Penedès lie a short drive inland.

The rooms
Historic wing suites retain their original high ceilings. Contemporary rooms open onto private terraces with direct views over the sea.
The spa and rooftop pool
Bring a swimsuit.
Treatment rooms include a glowing Himalayan salt suite. Upstairs, wicker loungers flank the open-air rooftop pool.
The seawater circuit
Indoor seawater pools sit under an iron-and-glass roof, fitted with stainless cascade spouts and dynamic hydromassage jets.
Restaurant
Sant Salvador Beach Club
The open-air restaurant sits under thatched canopies right on the sand, serving fresh seafood and rice dishes.
The sumptuous beachfront hotel is housed in a former sanatorium, which was built here because the glittering Mediterranean water along this stretch of golden sand is said to be healing.
At the table
La Terrassa del Mar sits beneath terracotta arches, and Bar Tempus serves botanical cocktails inside the former chapel.
How it began

Architect Germán Rodríguez Arias designed the 1929 sanatorium to treat childhood tuberculosis using the coast's iodine-rich seawater.
