What they say
Michelin Selected

Set though it may be in the historic heart of Colmar, a stone’s throw from the winding streets of its charming old town, L’Esquisse Hôtel & Spa Colmar - MGallery is as contemporary as they come.
Right in the middle
Well-located: walkable to some things, a short ride to more.
The lawns of the Champ-de-Mars sit right outside, and Colmar's historic old town is a short walk away.
The rooms
Rooms draw on twentieth-century modernism, detailed with framed sketches and slabs of raw stone.
The pool
Bring a swimsuit.
Dark stone and geometric tiles enclose the pool, where sleek armchairs sit beneath soft recessed lighting.
The spa and gym
Therapists use Clarins products in six treatment cabins. Across the spa, a timber sauna sits beside the courtyard gym.
At the table
The two-Michelin-starred JY's looks out over the park, and K Bar serves cocktails around a long marble communal table.
How it began

The design honors Colmar-born sculptor Auguste Bartholdi, the nineteenth-century artist who created the Statue of Liberty.
