Our shorthand ↗
Maison Brummell Majorelle, vibe
“It rises up behind terrazzo walls like a modernist sandcastle, its interiors spare and sculptural with smooth stone flooring…”
— Michelin

Rooms

Rooms feature pale tadelakt plaster, on-site poured terrazzo, and custom brass accents, with ground-floor options opening to private cactus gardens with outdoor tubs.

“The hotel combines modernist design with Moroccan craftsmanship—hand-woven carpets, a curving tadelakt staircase, terrazzo floors and bathtubs—in a blend that is minimalist yet cozy.”
— AFAR

Wellness

A stone-built hammam features a marble steam bath and heated indoor plunge pool, complemented outside by a garden swimming pool lined with daybeds.

Backstory

Austrian hotelier Christian Schallert opened the retreat in 2023, carving modern inverted arches into a monolithic pink-earth facade.

Eat & drink

Mornings begin with fresh baghrir pancakes and semolina flatbreads in the dining room, while the in-house chef prepares multi-course Moroccan suppers on request.

The neighborhood

Set along a quiet residential street directly behind the Majorelle Gardens and the Yves Saint Laurent Museum, the hotel borders the galleries of Gueliz.
