What it’s good at
Notable
Thomas Juul-Hansen designed the residences with recessed black metal picture windows facing the river.
Notable
An assigned concierge provides assistant service for ten expansive furnished residential apartments.
Right in the middle
Well-located: walkable to some things, a short ride to more.
Hudson River Park sits directly across West Street. Just east, quiet cobblestone blocks lead deeper into the West Village.
The rooms
Each residence has a full kitchen and heated bathroom floors. Tall windows look straight out toward the river.
The thermal suite
A steaming whirlpool bath sits at the center of the marble suite, beside a sauna and a steam room.
The spa
Two private treatment rooms host custom facials by Swiss brand Intuisse, and an adjoining lounge serves herbal tea.
The gym
The private gym holds modern workout equipment. Instructors lead one-on-one yoga and Pilates sessions.
Dogs stay too.
At the table
Chef Sébastien Sanjou oversees Marius, an intimate seven-table restaurant. Cocktails are served in the lounge and on the rooftop terrace.
How it began

Two townhouses damaged during Superstorm Sandy once stood on this lot, replaced by a purpose-built eight-story structure.
