Rooms follow many of the design codes of a contemporary city center hotel such as a neutral palette and light wood furnishings, while the functional open wardrobes help to maximize the feeling of space.
Right in the middle
Well-located: walkable to some things, a short ride to more.
Set on bustling Aegidientorplatz at the edge of Südstadt, the hotel sits moments from central Hannover's pedestrian core.
The rooms
Calm neutral bedrooms feature oversized prints of classic vinyl records by artist Kai Schäfer, nodding to Hanover's musical history.
The sauna
Slatted timber benches line the Finnish sauna, and the adjoining relaxation room has daybeds beneath a painted koi mural.
The gym
Treadmills and weight machines share the wood-floored gym with lounge chairs and a vintage leather punching bag.
At the table
Breakfast is served among brick walls and leather banquettes. Later, the counter pours local gin under a hanging disco ball.
How it began

The corner building previously housed the Lower Saxony Ministry of Finance, behind a facade that remains under historic protection.
