MOLLIE Aspen, vibe

Vibe

Bauhaus geometry meets Japanese minimalism in an open lobby of layered timber, woven textiles, and crackling fires.

“Bauhaus alpine roost”

Design

Bauhaus lines blend with Japanese and Scandinavian minimalism across layered timber woodwork and gridded ceiling panels.

Luxe

Electric Rivian airport and ski shuttles, handled ski equipment, and a Naturopathica spa suite treatment program.

Wellness

Year-round rooftop heated spa pool and hot tub, a fitness room, and Naturopathica body-and-facial treatments.

Central

Overlooking Paepcke Park in downtown Aspen, a short walk from the Silver Queen Gondola.

Our shorthand ↗
“There’s no rule that says a modern Colorado ski hotel has to look like a national park lodge or an Alpine chalet.”
— Michelin Guide

Rooms

Muted timber paneling and deep green tiles frame light-filled spaces, where freestanding tubs sit positioned against mountain views.

“A modern mountain lodge feel that’s airy and clean”
— Condé Nast Traveler

Wellness

A heated rooftop spa pool and hot tub look directly toward Aspen Mountain, backed by private Naturopathica body treatments.

Backstory

Named for nineteenth-century Aspen pioneer Mollie Gibson, the building channels the town's Bauhaus legacy through clean, functional timber architecture.

Eat & drink

Petit Trois serves Parisian bistro classics on heated terraces, while rooftop lounge Petit Familia pours agave cocktails against the peaks.

The neighborhood

Set beside Paepcke Park, the hotel sits a quick walk from downtown galleries and the Silver Queen Gondola.

Our shorthand

What makes a hotel special, how well they pull it off, and what it feels like outside the door.

How well they pull it off

Gold

Extremely rare. Sets the global standard.

Silver

Brilliant execution. And we’re picky.

Bronze

They did this well. You’ll notice.

Listed

A defining trait. Makes the hotel what it is.

The eight vibes

Design

Architecture and interiors lead. There’s a creative vision at work.

Luxe

The guest is conspicuously well cared for. Requests met before they’re made.

Local

Rooted in place. Local character runs through the whole stay.

Social

Energy and scene. Where the city goes out, whether or not it’s sleeping here.

Heritage

A building with history. The story of the place is part of the stay.

Wellness

Built around feeling better. Rest, sweat, soak, spa.

Classic

A hotel the city grew up with. Same rituals, same regulars.

Resort

A world of its own. No reason to leave the property.

Scene — what’s outside the door

Lively

Where things happen: restaurants, shops, people.

Central

Well-located: walkable to some things, a short ride to more.

Quiet

Away from the crowds. Getting around takes intention.

Secluded

A place apart: the property is the destination.
