Right in the middle
Well-located: walkable to some things, a short ride to more.
On northern Banff Avenue, a short stroll or transit ride from downtown restaurants and shops.
The rooms
Rooms use neutral palettes and Canadiana artwork. Selected group layouts add lofted bunks or toe-to-toe beds.
The plunge pools
Bring a swimsuit.
Heated plunge pools sit in the central courtyard, flanked by cushioned daybeds and decorative breeze-block walls.
The gym
The fitness room has Peloton bikes, a heavy punching bag, and boxing gloves on yellow pegboard walls.
Dogs stay too.
At the table
A restored 1966 Volkswagen bus serves Alberta brisket poutine and Reuben sandwiches. An adjacent pantry stays stocked around the clock.
How it began

Drumheller-based Canalta Hotels bought the property in 2016, converting a former second-floor ballroom into guest rooms during the overhaul.
