What they say
Michelin Selected
Michelin
Along one of Utrecht’s canals, MUZE Hotel transforms a 19th-century building into a beautiful, family-run retreat.
Right in the middle
Well-located: walkable to some things, a short ride to more.
The front steps face the Tolsteegsingel canal, with Ledig Erf and the Museumkwartier a few minutes away on foot.
The rooms
The attic room has a telescope for stargazing under the eaves. Others look out through nineteenth-century stained glass.
At the table
Guests gather for Dutch breakfast around an oval table under a crystal chandelier, with fruit picked from the garden.
How it began

Siblings Paul and Cocky Barendregt bought the building in 2017 with their daughters, reviving a derelict canal house overgrown with weeds.
