What it’s good at
Listed
Curved lines evoke luxury cruise ships, with private balconies opening to Nagasaki Port.
What they say
Michelin Selected
Michelin
The sleek, round-edged building plays this to perfection, especially from the top-floor lobby lounge as night falls over a soothing cityscape.
Right in the middle
Well-located: walkable to some things, a short ride to more.
The station concourse and city tram stops sit right downstairs, with harbor walkways lining the water just outside.
The rooms
Two-thirds of rooms open onto private balconies, keeping interiors minimal so Mount Inasa and the port take focus.
The gym
Treadmills and free weights line the eighth-floor windows, looking straight out over the city below.
Restaurant
Harbella
Full-height windows look across the harbor. The kitchen applies French culinary technique to regional seafood and Western Kyushu produce.
At the table
Sushi De Jima serves local nigiri before an illuminated rock garden, and The Azurite mixes drinks beside nighttime city views.
How it began

Architecture firm Kume Sekkei designed the curved glass facade, opening in 2024 alongside JR Nagasaki Station's West Kyushu Shinkansen line.
