What they say
Michelin Selected
Michelin
Treehouse-like bungalows, connected by a network of forest catwalks, feature rustic-chic wood-beamed interiors, parquet floors, fireplaces, soaking tubs, and private terraces.
Tucked away
A place apart: the property is the destination.
Forest trails lead directly toward the roaring Huilo Huilo Falls and volcanic caverns beneath the Patagonian Andes.
The rooms
Each bungalow has a slow-combustion fireplace and parquet flooring, and the riverfront deck holds a private wood-fired hot tub.
The pool
An outdoor swimming pool wraps around a central island of native trees, crossed by wooden footbridges beneath the canopy.
Restaurant
Club House Nawel
The lodge clubhouse centers on an open kitchen where chefs prepare morning spreads and lunches beneath high timber ceilings.
Nawel Restaurant
Dinners unfold under antler chandeliers over five courses of regional cuisine, served alongside Chilean wines.
At the table
Carved tree slabs and stacked stone shape the bar, which pours craft beer brewed right on the reserve.
How it began

The name means 'Spirit of the Puma' in Mapudungun. The grounds occupy former nineteenth-century timberland, now preserved as a biological reserve.
