What they say
Michelin Selected
Michelin
Also in Condé Nast Traveler and AFAR.
It’s a new build, meaning the finishes are sparkling fresh and modern, as is the in-room gadgetry, but it’s steeped in antique atmosphere
Right in the middle
Well-located: walkable to some things, a short ride to more.
Ashford Avenue and Condado Beach sit two blocks north, while the protected lagoon outside stays calm for paddleboarding.
The rooms
Provincial-style furniture and wrought-iron accents fill the bedrooms, and select suites open onto private terraces with outdoor plunge tubs.
The rooftop pool
Bring a swimsuit.
A tiered marble saltwater plunge pool sits on the rooftop terrace, looking out over Condado Lagoon.
The spa
Spa cabanas in the rooftop solarium host single and couples massages with views across Condado Lagoon.
At the table
Bardot serves Provençal cooking in a gallery-lined dining room, and private dinners are set on a floating lagoon deck.
The design at O:live is the beginning of a new genre: Euro-Trop, where Moroccan tile, wood-slatted walls, and Continental antiques mingle with palms and chirping coquis.
How it began

The building once held administrative offices for the Condado Vanderbilt, before a local couple redesigned it after their Sorrento wedding.
