Vibe
Bamboo-shaded reflecting ponds and cast dragon-scale tiles frame a 32-meter timber bar that doubles as check-in along the garden.
“Urban resort sanctuary”
Layan Design Studio paired a thirty-two-meter timber Long Bar with cast dragon-scale tiles and reflecting ponds.
A twenty-five-meter indoor infinity lap pool and UR Spa overlook the treetops of Jing'an Park.
Deep window-side soaking tubs, handcrafted ceramics, and attentive service in spacious loft-style rooms overlooking Jing'an Park.
Beside Jing'an Park in Jing'an District, steps from Nanjing West Road shopping and metro lines.
Rooms
Residential lofts pair handcrafted ceramics with floor-to-ceiling glass, framing deep-soaking bathtubs that gaze directly out across the park canopy.
Wellness
A 25-meter indoor infinity lap pool floats level with the treetops of Jing'an Park, flanked by UR Spa hydrotherapy suites.
Backstory
Melbourne-based Layan Design Studio conceived the property in 2009 as China’s first urban resort, blending contemporary minimalism with Shanghainese heritage.
Eat & drink
Modern French dining takes center stage at PHÉNIX, while the Long Bar pours Champagne and craft cocktails beside tranquil courtyard reflecting ponds.
The neighborhood
Jing'an Park's walking paths sit right outside the door, with the luxury shopping and bustle of Nanjing West Road just beyond.
“A glass tower with fabulous city views and friendly service, the PuLi provides sanctuary from the chaos of downtown Shanghai, despite its construction-heavy JingAn district location.”
