“Rimba East redefines the treehouse fantasy, and the modern woodsy vibe is established as soon as you arrive.”

Notable
A heated seawater hydrotherapy circuit at the estate's cliffside thalassotherapy pool.
What they say
Michelin Selected
Michelin
Also in Condé Nast Traveler and AFAR.
they’re resolutely forward-looking, and they come by the hundreds, differentiated less by eclectic design decisions than by elevation — the quicker to reach the pools, say, or the better to take in the views.
Tucked away
A place apart: the property is the destination.
Jimbaran's beachside seafood restaurants sit just down the hill, and resort shuttles connect directly to white-sand Kubu Beach.

The rooms
Furnished balconies look out into the tree canopy, and bathrooms have deep circular marble soaking tubs.
The pools
Bring a swimsuit.
Six freshwater pools step down the hillside, from quiet bougainvillea-draped cabanas to a 25-meter rooftop infinity pool above the treetops.
The gym
The 24-hour gym looks across the pool through floor-to-ceiling glass. Inside, Technogym Kinesis stations sit beside steam sauna rooms.
At the table
Tables at To'Ge open onto koi ponds and lotus blossoms, and submerged barstools line the sheltered pool bar.
Tucked away amid swimming pools, foliage, and water-spouting monkey statues of the 403-room family resort Rimba by Ayana in beachy Jimbaran Bay, Bali, is home to camps for children ages 2 to 12 years old.
How it began

The name means forest in Indonesian. Builders completed the hillside enclave in twelve months ahead of the 2013 Bali APEC summit.
