What they say
Two Michelin Keys
Michelin
Also in Condé Nast Traveler and AFAR.
The hotel has just 22 villas, one more lavish than the next.
Tucked away
A place apart: the property is the destination.
The cliffs overlook Tibay Beach toward Cabrits National Park, and Portsmouth is a ten-minute drive up the coast.
The rooms
Dominican red cedar furnishes the bedrooms, and broad timber terraces open to private plunge pools above the water.
The pool and gym
Bring a swimsuit.
The Gwiyavyé saltwater lap pool is bordered by guava trees, and an open-air fitness pavilion looks straight into the rainforest.
The spa
The Gommier Spa treatment pavilion opens directly to the treetops above Tibay Beach, using custom local organic essential oils.
At the table
Zing Zing serves a daily six-course dinner without a set menu, using foraged island produce beneath an open timber canopy.
The luxury property has no communal spaces, beyond the decks, beaches, a riverside yoga pavilion, and the Zing Zing restaurant.
How it began

Founder Gregor Nassief free-climbed these sea cliffs as a boy, later buying the land from his father to build the resort.
