In a lively part of town
Where things happen: restaurants, shops, people.
Asmalı Mescit's cobbled streets buzz with late-night meyhanes, and İstiklal Avenue is a short walk away.

The rooms
Bedrooms in the glass annexe pair midcentury velvet seating with traditional Turkish kilims and walk-in rainforest showers.
Hammams and rooftop pools
Bring a swimsuit.
Two marble hammams host traditional scrub rituals, and yellow-striped daybeds border two rooftop plunge pools framed by city views.
The spa
Therapists use Cowshed botanicals across five wood-paneled treatment rooms, and green leather armchairs furnish the pedicure lounge.
At the table
Cecconi's serves handmade pasta under courtyard olive trees, and Greek mezze arrives on the rooftop terrace overlooking the Golden Horn.
Consisting of four buildings, the hotel and private members club is a smart amalgamation of old and new, with its most historic component… carefully merged with a series of newer structures.
How it began

Genoese shipowner Ignazio Corpi built the marble palazzo in 1873, before the United States bought it as its European embassy.
