Michelin
Somewhere quiet
Away from the crowds. Getting around takes intention.
Lake Weissensee holds drinking-quality water, and strict conservation laws keep the surrounding shoreline free from new development.
The rooms
Every room faces Lake Weissensee, opening onto a private balcony set right above the shoreline.
The indoor pool
Bring a swimsuit.
An indoor lap pool sits beneath skylights at the apartment wing, flanked by cushioned loungers on the tiled deck.
The spa
Treatment rooms host organic bodywork, and a gabled timber studio holds yoga sessions with views straight across the lake.
The saunas
The Finnish Seesauna looks out across the water through a panoramic window, steps from the larch swimming pier.
At the table
Evenings bring certified organic vegetarian dining in the glass pavilion, and daytime drinks spill onto the lake deck.
How it began

Owner Christian Halper remade the 1950s hotel in 2017, inspired by his plant-based Vienna restaurant TIAN.
