Artist-designed boarding house
Digital keypads replace the front desk, giving guests an independent stay inside a historic boarding house remade by Colorado artists.
“The Acoma House feels a bit like entering an eccentric family’s mansion, in which each of the creative kids has been tasked with decorating their own bedrooms.”

Each of the 24 rooms went to a different Colorado artist to design outright, mural included: tattoo artist Scott Santee painted one with a magpie motif.
Right in the middle
Well-located: walkable to some things, a short ride to more.
The Denver Art Museum and the Clyfford Still Museum sit a block away in the Golden Triangle Creative District.
The rooms
Every room has its own mural, and corner suites add standalone cast-iron clawfoot soaking tubs.
How it began

Christina and Mike Eisenstein bought the dilapidated 1902 boarding house, giving local artists free rein to reinvent each room.
