The Berkeley — backstory

Backstory

Founded on Piccadilly in the nineteenth century, the hotel moved to its Wilton Place address in 1972 before reimagining itself with modern glasswork.

The Berkeley — eat & drink

Eat & drink

Sip cocktails in the electric-blue David Collins bar, then sample Cédric Grolet’s hyper-realistic fruit pastries at his dedicated chef’s counter.

The neighborhood

Wilton Place borders both Belgravia and Knightsbridge, placing Hyde Park’s green paths and Harrods shopping within a five-minute stroll.

“The Berkeley does not boast the longest list of royal guests, the most storied history, or the richest collection of antiques and old master paintings.”
