What they say
Michelin Selected
Michelin
Also in Condé Nast Traveler.
the rooms are a wild ride, kitschy but somehow tastefully so, and the Dive Bar, similarly, pays tribute to the best things about the unpretentious nightspots of the world, without the grime.
Right in the middle
Well-located: walkable to some things, a short ride to more.
Dickerson Pike sits just north of downtown, leaving East Nashville dining and Lower Broadway honky-tonks a short drive away.
The rooms
A wall-mounted Party Switch spins an overhead disco ball and turns on curated soundtrack channels above each bed.
The pool
Bring a swimsuit.
Yellow fringed umbrellas line the 60-foot heated pool, and retro rainbow stripes decorate the bathhouse wall.
The spa
Dogs stay too.
At the table
Green vinyl booths sit beneath vintage televisions, and the bar serves retro beers and disco fries.
As you walk inside you start to see the Wes Anderson-like details, antique beer lights, a DJ booth made from a retrofit tube TV that plays a loop of black and white images, wood paneling, fake fireplaces, and perfect hand-lettered signage.
How it began

The site opened in 1956 as the Key Motel, hosting touring country stars like Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton.
