What they say
Michelin Selected
Michelin
Right in the middle
Well-located: walkable to some things, a short ride to more.
Happy Valley Racecourse sits just down the street. Wan Chai's traditional markets and tea restaurants start right outside the front doors.
The rooms
Interiors balance warm timber with industrial brass detailing, and wide windows look out over the dense Wan Chai streets.
The gym
Cardio equipment, free weights, and functional training zones fill the third-floor fitness room beneath recessed purple lighting.
Bar
The Crown
Plush velvet seating surrounds the indoor performance stage. Outside on the terrace, cocktails are served under glowing orb lamps.
At the table
Golden Valley serves Cantonese and Sichuan fare beneath shell chandeliers. Monkey Café turns out casual meals from an open kitchen.
How it began

The Emperor Group began as a watch retailer in 1942, relocating its 1990s Happy Valley hotel to this custom tower in 2017.
