What they say
Michelin Selected
Michelin
Myles Pritchard built this nine-room adults-only hotel himself on Kabalana Beach, and its pink façade… has become the property's most recognizable feature.
Right in the middle
Well-located: walkable to some things, a short ride to more.
Kabalana Beach sits right out front, with Ahangama's reef and surf breaks steps away along Galle Road.
The rooms
Balconies hold hammocks looking over the Indian Ocean, and bathrooms have curved pink plaster showers.
The pool
Bring a swimsuit.
The pool sits at the water's edge beneath stick pergolas, looking straight out over the Indian Ocean.
Poolside Ocean Terrace and Bar
Woven rattan pendants hang over the pink plaster counter, where signature spicy margaritas are mixed until sunset.
At the table
The open-air dining pavilion sits right above the sand, where cooked-to-order breakfasts include banana and coconut pancakes.
How it began

Photographer Myles Pritchard rebuilt a derelict seaside villa without blueprints, hand-mixing cement alongside local craftsmen.
