Vibe
Locals and travelers mingle in a lobby of marble checkerboard floors and dark wood paneling, with live music drifting from the Lobby Bar.
“Sam Fox salon”
Choreographed evening lighting animates European manor interiors, with botanical bathroom wallpaper and playful mirrored walls at Le Market.
Dedicated spin, movement and Pilates studios complement ten treatment rooms, cryotherapy and a sauna with cold plunge.
Nightly turndown accompanies carefully equipped room bars with crystal glasses, fresh citrus and a proper cutting board.
At Camelback Road and 44th Street, with Scottsdale and Biltmore shopping a short drive away.
“Five restaurants serve as the heartbeat of the resort, and range across the globe for inspiration, while the spa is both cutting-edge and comprehensive.”
Rooms
White oak floors, custom walnut millwork and woven rugs give guestrooms a residential feel, with commissioned artwork adding personality.
“The grand lobby spills out into a lush courtyard with patio seating ringed by tidy gardens and graceful olive trees, creating an evocative indoor-outdoor sanctum.”
Wellness
The fitness center looks toward Camelback Mountain and opens onto two outdoor terraces, giving workouts a distinctly desert backdrop.
“The hotel’s boutique is pretty great (Common Project sneakers, James Perse t-shirts). Also worth mentioning is that the hotel has a membership component”
Backstory
Restaurateur Sam Fox drew on his international travels for his first hotel, conceived as the legacy project of his hospitality career.
“The 141-guestroom Global Ambassador opened in December 2023, with amenities including an airy lobby with a coffee shop and luxurious spa.”

This is one hotel. The app has every one we rate, in your pocket, for the whole trip.
Our shorthand
What makes a hotel special, how well they pull it off, and what it feels like outside the door.
How well they pull it off
Extremely rare. Sets the global standard.
Brilliant execution. And we’re picky.
They did this well. You’ll notice.
A defining trait. Makes the hotel what it is.
The eight vibes
Architecture and interiors lead. There’s a creative vision at work.
The guest is conspicuously well cared for. Requests met before they’re made.
Rooted in place. Local character runs through the whole stay.
Energy and scene. Where the city goes out, whether or not it’s sleeping here.
A building with history. The story of the place is part of the stay.
Built around feeling better. Rest, sweat, soak, spa.
A hotel the city grew up with. Same rituals, same regulars.
A world of its own. No reason to leave the property.
Scene — what’s outside the door
Where things happen: restaurants, shops, people.
Well-located: walkable to some things, a short ride to more.
Away from the crowds. Getting around takes intention.
A place apart: the property is the destination.
