Each suite joins four to five former cells into a vaulted layout, pairing exposed bluestone walls with black marble and brass accents.

The subterranean heated pool is carved into basalt and bluestone beneath a glazed ceiling looking into the central atrium.
Olivine Wine Bar
Three converted bluestone cells hold more than 500 wine labels, with intimate tasting booths and sommelier sessions.
Each room comprises four or five former cells with parts of the adjoining walls knocked down, creating railroad-style lodgings that neatly divide themselves into zones.
At the table
North & Common serves seasonal Victorian fare in the former mess hall, and the courtyard hosts fireside gatherings.
How it began
Constructed in the 1850s as the prison's B Division, the fortress was sanctified by Wurundjeri Elders before opening as a retreat in 2023.
