Michelin Selected
Michelin
Four minimalist-luxe rooms and suites make up the accommodations, and just like the public spaces, all of them are oriented to take in hypnotic views of the sea.
Tucked away
A place apart: the property is the destination.
Ashizuri-Uwakai National Park surrounds the grounds, and the Cape Ashizuri lighthouse stands just down the coast.
The rooms
Suites face the open Pacific, and select rooms come with private open-air baths alongside personal dry saunas.
The onsen
Soak slowly.
Outdoor rock-rimmed baths draw from the Ashizuri hot spring, looking directly out across the rugged Pacific coastline.
Restaurant
Azzurrissimo
Tables sit on a timber deck over the Pacific, where dinner brings Italian courses and pizza with local seafood.
How it began

The name joins the regional Kochi dialect word zamana, meaning extraordinary, with the Hawaiian concept of mana, or life force.
