It’s a solid, sober building, now finished in minimalist black and gray, a mood that persists in the interiors but is livened by subtle accents in metallic colors.

The Modernist Café
The ground-floor café serves fresh pastries and deli breakfasts, followed by light all-day plates at marble tables.
The rooms are more ’80s yuppy vibes than strictly modernist. Black dominates the spaces through paintwork and tiling, but fresh pops of white through the bed sheets and towels help lighten the tone.
How it began
The corner building housed the Canadian embassy for decades before Thessaloniki studio FORMrelated transformed it into a 38-room hotel.
