Tucked away
A place apart: the property is the destination.
A five-minute walk through the dunes leads down past rock pools to Gwithian Beach and its Atlantic surf.
The rooms
Wood-burning stoves warm the shiplap living areas, and each house includes a deep roll-top bath for soaking after the surf.
Saunas and hot tubs
Each private sun deck has a cedar barrel sauna and sunken hot tub, with hammocks hung out in the sea air.
The spa
Massages and facials in the treatment room draw on organic botanical skincare crafted in Cornwall by InLight Beauty.
Restaurant
Chomp
This outdoor beach kitchen serves street-food sharing plates and Cornish craft beers, with picnic tables and a cosy wooden yurt.
How it began

Founders Craig Burkinshaw and Joanne Le Bon bought the dune plot in 2014 while searching for Britain's best kitesurfing break.
